Hello, I’m Morag, thanks for stopping by.  I’ve been documenting weddings as Brown’s Photography for over 20 years and have a degree in photography from Napier University in Edinburgh.   I live in the southside of Glasgow with my husband, daughter, dog and bearded dragon.  I love wandering around Glasgow’s beautiful parks, bookshops and cafes and am currently punishing myself by trying to complete the couch to 5K running plan. 

I document weddings and families throughout Scotland and am a recommended photographer for House For An Art Lover, Pollok House, Stonefield Castle in Tarbert, Ardanaiseig in Argyll and Bute, Myres Castle in Fife and Dumfries House in Ayr.  We have so many beautiful places in Scotland to visit and get married in and I’ve photographed lots of them over the years, including Glasgow University, Oran Mor, Crear, The Cruin, Lodge on Loch Lomond, Dalduff Farm, Culzean Castle, Lunga House, Kinkell Byre, Mansfield Traquair, Greywalls, Archerfield, Balbirnie House, Rowallan Castle, as well as tipi weddings in private gardens, beach weddings and village halls and family sessions in Pollok Park, Glencoe, Edinburgh, Dunoon and Glasgow.

I’m interested in people and telling stories and I loved my wedding day.  I was married on the Isle of Iona and one of my favourite memories is locking up the wee village hall at 5am after the last of our guests had rolled out the door, and walking barefoot back to the hotel with my husband as the sun was coming up, feeling tired, happy and peaceful.  We had the best time and I have loved weddings ever since.  I adore weddings and family sessions that are personal, a bit unconventional and all about the people.

I love to travel and have travelled widely throughout Scotland, especially the Highlands and Islands, and the rest of the world, including Japan, Australia and a lot of the USA but am concentrating on working close to home in Scotland for now while my daughter is still young.

I also work as a medical photographer for the NHS and feel privileged to be able to be part of the medical photography team in Glasgow. Please do mention if you are an NHS worker when enquiring with me!
