Myres Castle in Fife was the scene for Amy and Colin’s relaxed and informal wedding.
The original plan was for an outdoor wedding ceremony under the beautiful trees on the lawn but both decided at the last minute to move it into the Applestore just in case it rained. And it turned out to be a well chosen decision as the heavens opened just as the ceremony ended!
Always the sign of a great wedding venue, Myres Castle had foreseen this possibility and had set up the post-ceremony drinks and food reception under tarpaulin so the feast of Middle Eastern food provided by the bride and groom went ahead without a hitch.
The wedding day was full of fun and friends and Amy and Colin made the most of the beautiful surroundings of Myres Castle in the Fife countryside to wander, relax and spend time with their nearest and dearest.
And I got to wander with them to document all the moments and personal touches they had made such an important part of their day.
